Debbie Broadfield joined Consulting 4Biz, Inc. in January of 2008. She has over 5 years’ experience as a legislative assistant in the district office of an Illinois Senator, where she provided direct interaction with constituent concerns that often led to legislative proposals. Debbie brings skills in policy research, organization and management of multiple projects, and an understanding of the political process.

She is a 2004 graduate of the Illinois Lincoln Excellence in Public Service Series and, in 2008, completed the Illinois Society of Association Executive Certified Leadership Series.  With a strong focus on advocacy, communication, and lobbying techniques, her participation in both series heightened her awareness of strategy and collaboration needed for success.

Debbie graduated from Eastern Illinois University in 1997, earning a Bachelor of Science in Family and Consumer Sciences. After college, Debbie spent five years advocating for the best interest of children as a Child Welfare Specialist at The Baby Fold and then at the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services.

Debbie’s chief responsibilities include direct lobbying, legislative bill review, and assisting clients to navigate the process of bill-to-law.
